According to the Will book 1 Will book 2 The Will of Jonathan Richardson Oct. 5, 1772 From Bedford County VA. A son named Jesse is mentioned, along with other sons and daughters.
wifes name was Ann
Sons names mentioned were: Jesse, Thomas, Amos and Joseph
Daughters names mentioned are Mary Nancy, and Rimy? not sure of the spelling on that...
Executor of the will: Ann
Witness: John Prodford, Josha Morgan, and Ann Morgan
Recorded:; May 24, 1773

Also Amos, who was mentioned in the will also went to North Carolina, but settled in Campbell County, TN. Amos was born in 1762, which would have made him an older bother by three years, if this is the right family. It sure sounds like a possible match.

The Amos Richrdson of this will record, son of Jonathan who was twice married, was a Rev. Soldier. His pension record recites his date of birth and his migration pattern. He married Susannah Smith of SC and moved to Elbert Co., GA following the Rev. War. The area of Elbert Co., GA where he lived was later taken into Hart County, GA. Amos Richardson was living with his son James Van Richardson in 1840. In 1840 there was (at least in GA) a special census taken of Rev. Vets, and AMOS is enumerated as a resident in the home of his son James Van Richardson who married twice. Amos died in Hart Co., GA and a monument was erected by the Genealogical Society to honor him as a Rev. Soldier.

AMOS was born in Loudon Co., VA. His father Jonathan Richardson first married in MD and lived there for a time. After her death he married again and married Ann. They migrated to Loudon Co., VA where they lived for a time. Then, he moved to Bedford Co., VA. Also present in both Louson Co., VA was a John Richardson who married Catherine Conway in MD (All Hallows Parrish). This John Richardson (md. Catherine conway) preceded Jonathan Richardson and his family to Bedford Co., VA. So one must take care not to confuse the two families.

Several of Amos' brothers were Rev. Soldiers. Jessee, if memory serves, moved to KY where many records a are present to support his Rev service and his descendants. In addition to Amos and Jessee, there were brothers Thomas and Joseph. Both of which tip toed thru GA after the Rev War. They did not, however, remain in GA. Can't remember if it was Joseph or Thomas, but believe it was Joseph, who in his Rev. Pen. application recites his migration after the Rev War. He went back to NC/SC after a short period in GA.

Happy Hunting!
