Looking for information on my great grandfather Karl Johan Edward Nillson or Nelson aka. Carl J. Helstrom. He emigrated to Oakland, NE from Sweden March 18, 1899 with his wife Anna Johanson, and his daughter Anna Albertina, b.5/8/1896. Two other children were born in Oakland: Edith and Edward (or Edwin). Edith married Paul Silver.
Anna A. married Gustaf Ivar Hultman. Other than census pages from 1910, I can't find any information on the family.

Thank you very much for the info. Wade. Carl was a builder and built quite a few homes in Oakland, NE, so I would think people would remember him.
