Hi Roxxane,

I first visited Emerald in 1994 and spent the day there. A small town. At the time 500. It had a good feel to it. I got to meet my cousins for the first time. They took me to an abondoned house where my grandfather and Greatgrandfather had once lived. Their surname was Larson. One of my cousins has a dairy farm there. Do you
have family from Emerald? My Larson side moved to St. Croix County in the early 1870's. They immigrated from Denmark in 1867. A couple years ago I met someone from Emerald; we were in Guam of all places. Well, better late than never. Erik
