Hello researchers
anyone in your family ever think there was a town named after your ancestors. Well there is. Its in Pennsylvania and was named after David Llewellyn. From a bicentenial book I have scanned a few of the pages for you. I live in this town and being the Fire Chief, I Love looking at the history of the town.

Chief3,

Yes I did know of the town of Llewellyn.David Llewellyn emigrated to the U.S. 7-1-1841, accompanied by his cousin, also David Llewellyn, Cousin David's wife Sarah, and his cousin William Llewellyn. The only info I have of him is that he settled in Schuykill Co., began a coal business in a place now called Llewellyn, after him. Is there more info of his life in this book?If so please e-mail me
