Obituary guidance, please

I need to find an obitaury for someone who died in Stratford in 1944. Where is the best place to look? Is there an index to obitauries from the Stratford Beacon Herald (which I think is the appropriate paper)?

Any assistance appreciated.

You could post your request on this board putting "Request lookup in Stratford Beacon" in the subject box.

If no-one is able to do this lookup for you, I would suggest you contact the Stratford-Perth Archives
