there should be more info on the above reference

you should also be able to glean more from any other convict musters - freedom pass etc etc that they hold + if she married - her marriage entry + any children (their certificates/entries) etc etc

I'm researching Hannah Hiho at the moment. One of her descendents married into my husband's family. I can give you some information on her descendents & possible family. Don't have a tree posted on Ancestry but email me at jda@netspace.net.au

Hi Barb

I'm doing a tree on ancestry for my son's friend Damien. Hannah HIHO is his 4th great grandmother.

I'm wondering if Hannah HIHO is an alias for Ann HOGAN - because when you look at her convict record, these 2 names are bracketed together; also Ann is a variant of Hannah and in creating an alias one could imagine getting from HOGAN to HIHO. Have you considered this possibility?

Hi Teresa,
Hannah is my 3rd great grandmother. I am descended from her grand daughter Mary Ann Hiho. I have a lot of information on Hannah from the Tasmanian archives and other family members. She is named Hiho on her convict records but it seems to be an unusual spelling. We are the only Hihos that I have been able to find. I'd like to know what her birth name was. Maybe it was Hogan. She seems to have been a very wild woman.
I am happy to share information.
Cheers,
Barbara Francis,
