Robert Rutherford, born Scotland about 1688, came to Pemaquid with Dunbar about 1730. He was minister at Pemaquid, Brunswick, and Thomaston (where he died about 1756). Daughter Elizabeth married William Farnsworth.

In the Knox County Cemetery Records, p. 1496, Town Cemetery, Center Section (Warren):

"McCobb, Mrs. Anna Maria McCobb Relict of the late Capt. George McCobb of Cushing and daughter of the late Rev. Mr. Robert Rutherford formerly minister of the gospel in Ireland & afterwards in New England, d. Apr 15, 1807 in 82nd year of her life."

Patrick Drummond m. by 1740, possibly at Richmond or Topsham, Maine, Susanna Rutherford. Rutherford's first wife was Margaret.
