Hi,

I, like many of you have hit the loathsome dead-end. I am looking for any information regarding William Hunter's parents - origin etc.

Here is all that I have...
William Hunter ...born in Ireland abt 1740
moved to Cinnamonsin Twp, Burlington NJ in 17??
married in 1771 to Susannah Rudderow of NJ
they had 9 kids as follows...
Mary... b 24 Feb 1772 - d 05 May 1775
Thomas...b 1774?
Jane... b 25 Dec 1776
Mary (polly) ...b 22 nov 1778
William Washington...b22 Oct 1780 - d 20 Nov 1855
John...b 22 Jan 1783 - d 04 nov 1871
Susanna...b 14 Oct 1784
Elizabeth... b 1785, d 12 jul 1797
James...b 28 Apr 1787 - d 05 Oct 1787

Do you have any more "Irish clues"? I have a William Hunter - b. abt 1742, Ramelton, Co. Donegal, Ireland, son of Robert Hunter and Lilly White. But I have no way of making a "connection". This would be a maybe - Regards - Richard
