If anyone has any information on Roland Burrus or Burroughs Gray would you please share it with me? He was my grandfather and I would like to get all the information I can on him. He married Emily Idella Duke.

I'm sorry about being so long getting back to you. Roland was born either in 1870 or 1880 in Clay or Randolph County Alabama. He was murdered on July 22 1917 in the same area. He was a teacher.

I don't know if there is a connection. I am interested in discovering just how how my Gray line had ventured out from

I am the Great Granddaughter of Roland Burroughs Gray. His son, Harmon or William Harmon, W.H. Gray was my mother's father. Grandpa Harmon was a Master Carpenter. He helped to build my parents home down in Vero Beach, Fla. where I was born & raised. My mother is back on SandMountain, Trenton, Georgia now, not far from the Alabama line.
