I am looking for the parents of Henry West Sampson. he was born in Lynons, Wayne Co., New York, April 8th, 1832 and died in Hillsdale, Mich. February 6, 1922. Per his obit they state that in 1844 he moved from Lyons to Oconomowoc Wis. ,then to Hillsdale in 1850. Wis. but per his first marriage certificate he states he was from Greenbush Village, Sheboygan, Wis. Can anyone direct me to an organization that may be able to help me. I am going to call Wayne County Historical Society to see if they may have anything on him and his family..but need to follow up on the Wisconsin side as well.
