I am searching for a Clark family from Picton, PE County. I have a William Henry Clark, born 25 Sep 1837. He was the son of William and Mary Clark. He married Hannah Rose of Picton, daughter of Daniel Lockwood Rose and Elizabeth Snyder on 9 May 1864. He later moved to Fairhaven, Cayuga Co., NY.
Thanks,
Maria

I only have two marriages for Andrew Clark but what is a missing wife or two. His second marriage was to Sophia Swetman born in Hastings County Oct 30th, 1855. She died in South Marysburg May 30th 1906. I have nothing else on her, no siblings or parents or do I show her place of burial.

I show that they had nine children not eight but I do not have follow up on them all.

I do show Eva marrying Alexander Sedgewick but only show Lewis as their child and he was to have died 1922 at an early age. Am I wrong in this?

Am looking for info on Peter Rose, b 8/8/1833 in Onondaga Co, N.Y. USA who married Caroline Snyder, b 12/10/1834 in North Marysburgh Township, Ontario. Also would like info on Caroline Snyder family. I noticed you had a Daniel Rose who married Elizabeth Snyder. A co-incidence, I thought. Do you have info to connect Elizabeth to Caroline and/or Daniel to Peter? Peter and Caroline's daughter, Emma, married Alfred Suydum from Green Bush, N. Marysburgh Township.

I guess there are two William H. Clarks who were living in the same area in the same time period. Based on the marriages and dates, they couldn't be the same men.
Thanks for your message.

Were these people Presbyterian? I am going to the Family History Center to look at First Presbyterian Church Cherry valley NY births and Christenings 1799-1849. Would you like a lookup?
