Yes, I show that Simon had a son, Antoine Bourg, and daughter, Perrine Bourg.(b.1626?) Perrine, her second husband, Rene Landry, Antoine, and his wife Antoinetee Landry(Rene's sister) were some of the first families to arrive in Acadia. "Records show that they probably came from the estates of Charles D'Aulnay or from the estates of D'Alunay's mother, noear or in Martaize, department de la Vienne, France."

Still trying to find info on Simon and wife, Helen Comptee.

The records show her dying in Martaize which is a pretty good distance from Loudun where Simon died. This may need further research.

FYI:
1.) Antoine Bourg and Antoinette Landry married in France and renewed their marriage vows in Acadia. That's why you see two marriage citations with two different dates. People did that when they left the old country for the new.
2.) Martaize, France – curent population 414
Center of France, southwest of Paris
The timezone in Martaize is Europe/Paris
Latitude. 46.9166667°, Longitude. 0.0666667°

2.) There is a DNA group for the Bourg family.
4.) So far there are no hard copy or internet records on Simon Bourg to be found. Researchers deny Granddejean. That is also a nickname for Big John.
5.) If you do a google serach for Antoine and Antoinette you will come up with a website for a couple who visited Martaize and posted photos.

No evidence supports Antoine Bourg and Perrine Bourg being brother and sister. In fact, absence of dispensations for subsequent generations marrying would seem to demonstrate that they were NOT brother and sister.

Sorry -
Yes dispensations prove relationship.
BUT lack of dispensations does not prove NOT a relationship.
It only implies.
.
Look in your own tree especially with 2nd cousins that should have dispensations but do not. It is only as good as what the people tell the priest.
