I am looking for information on a Peter Rademacher born in Holland who enlisted in the Civil War on 21 Aug 1862. At the time he was living in the Town of Wilson, Sheboygan County, Wisc.

Any help will be appreciated!

OK. I don't know if it's the same Peter Rademacher. I have a Peter Rademacher, B. abt 1841 in Netherlands. He lived in the same area (sheboygan).

Married Barbara Rammer SEP 1866. Is this the same person?

Would your Peter happen to have a sister Frances. She lived in the WIlson area during the Civil War. Her husband Arnold Tax served in the war as well. I know that Frances and Arnold Tax are buried in St Peter Claver Cemetery. You can't miss the tall oblesik with TAX on it near the fence.

Hi: Your message got attached to my post and I think you might have wanted to attach to the first post in this thread -- In any case, My Frances and our cousin Frances are too young to be your Frances -- But have you seen the info on Peter Rademacher born in the Netherlands -- married Barbara Rammer and they also lived in the Wilson area. That is from ht eoriginal post. Go to the Rootsweb.com or the Ancestry.com trees and search for the trees that have Peter and Barbara and you will see the tree by the man who made the first message here and another tree of a researcher who has most of the Rademacher families included. Seems like strong possibility that your frances and Peter Rademacher married Barbara Rammer might be siblings, they are the right age and in right place. Good luck

Would this Peter happened to have a sister Frances? She was living in the Wilson area during the civil war. Her married name would have been Tax, her husband Arnold served in the GAR at the time. Both were buried out of St Peter Claver church. The cemetery is just south of Sheboygan.

I have finally pieced together that Pieter Rademacher was married to Barbara Rammer. Pieter and Barbara are buried in the St. George's Cemetery at Six Corners in the Town of Wilson. Most of their descendents moved to the Brown County area. I'm about to leave on vacation, but will gladly post in a few weeks what I've been able to put together if others are interested.

I would be interested in the information. I have a Franzeska Rademacher who lived in the Wilson area, married Arnold Tax. Both were buried from St Peter Claver Church.
