dants of Amado Sanchez. He was born in 1892 Fresnillo, Zacatecas Mexico. He and his brother join the Mexico Revolution in 1912 to 1914. Amado participated in the Battle of Zacatecas 1914. Many years later He was awarded the Revolutionary Medal and a Land Grant for his actions. He marry Emma Rodriguez born 1895 Mexico.

Amado Sanchez was born in Sept. 15, 1890 and died Feb. 1987. On His Land Grant from Mexico. His father name was Fernando Sanchez. Emma was born in April 6, 1894 and died in Calif. in April 1981. Her mother name was Maxsimiana Gonzales. Emma Sanchez had nine sons and one daughter. In which three or four of hers sons would serve in the military in World War II.

On June 12, 13, and the 14th 1914. Pach Villa Northern Army Attacked Zacatecas. In which was defended by Huerta's federal soldiers. It is alleged by the sons of Amado, that Amado Sanchez crawled up La Buffa Hill in the early morning darkness and shot two Federal Soldiers who was sleeping at their machine gun post. Did one Machine Gun make a different?

Four of Amado Sanchez sons, serve in the United State Army. Their names are Arthur, who will received a Silver Star Medal in World War II. The other brother Albert was wounded by a hand grenade. The third brother was Manual, a corporal in the Army in 1944. The fourth brother, Armando serve in the Military and the United State government and Live in Japan or Guam.

Amado Sanchez and his wife Emma, migrated to the U.S.A. in 1920? Mainly because of lack of oppotunity in Mexico. Also it did not help if you were an exrevolutionist. They migrated up and down the states of Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and ending in. California to stay. They worked as farmworkers. The other sons name are Amada, Efren, Ishmael, Ramiro, Samuel, and the one daughter name was Mary.

According to Ishmael Sanchez, born on June 11, 1924 Indio, California and died on February 25, 1993. One of the sons of Amado, said that is father was very strict in discipline and that all the brothers had to worked in the fields as farmworkers. The money the brother would earn, would be given to their father Amado. In which the brothers thought unfair.

IN 1937 Amado Sanchez, worked for the W.P.A. Work Projects Administration. This was an economic program under President Franklin D. Roosvelt Administration. He also apply for a Social Security Card 568-14-6322 on June 2, 1937. His address at this time, was 803 Date St. Los Angeles, California. He was 46 years old at this times. In or around 1940 Amado worked for the Bracero Program, a program for Mexican farm laborer to worked on the United States Farms.

In or around 1940, some of the brothers were gang member. The gang was called Macy Street gang, near Downtown Los Angeles, California. It is said that one of the brothers killed an opposeing gang member in a fair fight? Also Ishmael Sanchez was caught in a gang fight, according to a Los Angeles, Time Article. In which you see him setting on a carve, near the street with Los Angeles Police standing by.

In 1927, The Amado Sanchez Family moved from Van Nuys, California to 803 Date Street, Los Angeles, California. Three block from Macy Street, near Downtown Los Angeles. The neighborhood had over 300 hundred family in it. All the neighbor were friendly and everybody knew each other problems. The Los Angeles River was nearby and it was not cover with concrete. It was the playground of the poors. It had sand, rocks, bushes, tress, and all kind of birds in it. According to Albert Sanchez, also known as Roberto. One of the sons of Amado, said that they were called the baseball team. Because of his nine brothers and one sister. Also he said that is brother Ishmael, nickname Smile, was a good person in judging people. Because when he was young, he knew what was goin to happen ahead of time. We thought he had psychic power, so we called him sometime chandu the magician. In World War II, Ishmael Sanchez try to enlist into the army, but was refuse due to medical reason? I believed, he worked in the shipyard removing barnacle from battleships in Long Beach at this time. He had only a 10th grade education due to economic condition of his time. But he was intelligence and street wise. In or around 1950, Ishmael Sanchez worked for the Santa Fe Railroad Company cleaning passenger trains car. He did this for eight or nine years. On October 10, 1944, Ishmael Sanchez was Married to Lillian Fonscerrada. She was born on October 13, 1925, Tucsun Arizona. She was nineteen, years old at this time. She Died on November 26, 1978, Los Angeles, California. She was a lovely ladies and had two daughters and two sons. The father name, at the time of birth, was William Fonscerrada. He was from Empaina, Mexico. He did not like working, in the United States and wanted to go back to Mexico. His wife name was Nellie, and her maiden name was Miranda. She was born on February 5, 1904, Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico. She died on January, 1978, Los Angeles, California. She Migrated to the United States at an early age, with her father Jose Miranda, and his wife Petra and her maiden name was Lopez. Nellie, Foncerrada refuse to go back to Mexico, with William, so he left her with two kids, Lillian and Raymond. In or around 1938, Nellie was remarry to to Raymond Gutierrez. He was born in May 21, 1906, Auona, Mexico. He died in March, 1978, Los Angeles, California. He was a farmer, labored. Supervisor, and had his own produce business in the early forty an did quite well financially. I believed that the Gutierrez Family, did not approve of the marriage of Ishmael Sanchez to Lillian Foncerrada. I guest, that why they elope to Arizona. To be continue
