I am trying to trace ancestors of John Deal,born 1842.Lived in or near Amsterdam N.Y. Married E Augusta Cramer in 1865. Brother's name is James Deal. Both brothers may have served in Company B of the 32nd New York Infantry. Any help appreciated

I have an Eudora Deal, married to Alfred Jones, they lived in Seneca Co., NY. I have no furthur info on them, as I am just beginning my research on them.

I have Sarah Deal, born 1811 in Amsterdam, NY. She married Ezra Stearns about 1830.
Could there be a connection between our lines?

Quite possibly. If memory serves me correctly,there were two Deals that show up on the census for Montgomery County around then and either one could have been the father of Sarah Deal. Ihave made some inquiries as to siblings of Jeremiah Deal and will get back to you if it turns out that Sarah is Jeremiah's sister and Henry's daughter.
