kempton wheelock congdon is my great grandfather.... he died in 1939...i think...he was married to katherine capitola lawrence.they are my grammas parents..!

Hi Mary, the line I have for a Kempton Congdon is: father William Henry brn 1828 wife Rachel Best born 1839 and they had 7 children including Kempton. Williams parents were Enoch Congdon and Eunice Davison and they had 8 children
Enoch's parents were Joseph Congdon and Mary Cornwallis, but he was married twice and his second wife was Mary Wells and they had 10 children and my line in throught them. Joseph's parents were Benjamin III and Elizabeth Sweet and they had 8 children.
My Line runs like this:

Benjamin I born 1642 St. David Wales
Benjamin II born 1674 and married Frances Stafford Portsmouth RI
Benjamin III born Oct 20, 1702 N. Kingston RI died Windsor Nova Scotia 1777 - married Elizabeth Sweet

Benjamin V m. Ruth Reynolds
Samuel m. Ruth Fisher
William Henry m. Letitia Newcomb
Hattie (my Grandmother) m. Charles Packham

is he kempton wheelock congdon.....b.1870.......his parents aparently are william henry congdon and rachel (best) congdon...thats what is written in my book...my cousin did me up a beautiful family tree album but it isn't too detailed going that far back....

Hello again Mary. I have been doing the Congdon genealogy for about 4 years and have hundreds, if not thousands of names. I have a book called "My Grandmother was a Congdon" by Earl Crandall of NY and that is my basis of inf.
