Many researchers of the Lyon's of Culpeper County, VA, feel there are two Alexander Lyon's - one the resident of
Caswell County, son of William and Elizabeth Lyon of Culpeper County; the second being the father of Jacob Lyon, Wilkes County, NC, Rev. War vet.
You will probably find that Alexander Lyon of Caswell
County (husband of Judith Hill of Amherst Co, VA.) and Jacob Lyon were about the same age.
