Gina,
Hi my name is Jackie thats my Family Caccavale. No we are not directly related, but could be related somewhere in Italy. I am related to Frank Caccavale thru Marriage. Carolina LaRocca. From Caserta Margliano Italy. I have seen alot of Caccavale's in my search. They came over here on Nov 4 1911. Have fun with your search. Best Wishes! I am now trying to find them in Chicago. Found them buried. Mt Carmel in Chicago.

Anthony,
Thanks for responding this will be the end of my Subscription to Ancestery. Starting March, soo my lookup will be ending. Louis John was born 1917 spelled COKOVALO. FRANK WAS HIS FATHER AND CAROLINE LAROCCO MOTHER. He was the 4th child, and by 1917 his parents lost one of the babies. Don't know the Family really it's just the work trying to put them back together again. Have a great one to All!

Dear Gina,

In my search I have seen the names before. I don't think they are close relations like brothers, but I have a feeling they could be cousins. Caccavale changed the name. In the early 1917 they spelled the name as COKOVALE IN New Jersey birth Certificate for Louis. This does get intereting. Enjoy and hope this brings Happiness in the Findings.

Hi Gina, my grandmother was Rosa Caccavale and she came from Saviano near Naples to UK in about 1899, with my grandfather's family - The Bruscino's. (Bruscini's). She was born in 1880.

Rosa's father's name was Bernardo Caccavale, but I don't know too much about that side of the family. Do you think we are on the same lines?

Let me know if you find a connection. All the best, Ann Randall (Bruscini)

I believe you found my family in Mount Caramel. My great great grandmother is Teresa Cacavale. Her sons are Salvatore, Jimmie, Vincenzo, and Frank. I was not sure about frank at first, but the pieces are coming together now. Salvatore changed our family name to Caccavallo, this is from whom I am decended. I would love to compare notes with anyone. gencptcsa33@aol.com please list the subject as FOR VICKI
