Samuel and Charlotte Davenport from Gordon,Drummond New Brunswick,Canada.They came to Maine and settled in Aroostook County.They were Free Will Baptist of Scotch ancestry.If any one knows who they were and who there parents were this information would be appreciated.They also had two daughters that married John Swanback and John Hanson that fought over a piece of land now called the Bloody Half Acre.There daughter Julia Ann Davenport Sites is my 2x great grandmother.

The earliest date I have for Samuel and Charlotte is 1850 and they were living in Aroostook County Maine.In 1880 They were living in Fort Fairfield,Aroostook County Maine.The little that I do know is that their daughter Charlotte married John Swanback and another daughter married John Hanson.Can't remember which one of the other daughters married John Hanson.Julia Ann married Joseph Sites.She was my great grandmothers mother.
