Seeking info on family of above referenced, David Jamieson Patterson b 19 Oct 1811, who it is believed arrived with family in Philadelphia on 8 Dec 1818 sailing from Belfast. He became a Presbyterian minister, serving as the founding minister in 1858 of the Second United Presbyterian Church of Brooklyn NY. He served there through his death abt 1899. A church biography indicates that the family was from the village of Pointpass (?), Co Armagh, where they owned an operated a Mill until emigrating to America. Looking to identify parents and siblings. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Yes, it is Poyntzpass, thank you. However, despite my efforts, I have been unable to find any info on the Patterson family who lived there at least up til the early 19th century when some ( possibly all ) of the family emigrated to Philadelphia. In the meantime, the search goes on.
