I am searching for information on Arthur Kerr who lived in Tullyveery, Killyleagh. He had a son named Robert Kerr who was married to Sarah Kelly. They had a son William in 1864 and a son James in 1866. Is anyone else researching these lines? Also looking for a family of Kearns. Thomas Kearns, son of James and Ann Kearns, was married to Ellen O'Hagan. They lived in Banbridge around 1860.

The 1886 Down Directory does not list a Kerr in Killyleagh.
O'Hagan is listed in nearby Loughbrickland - P. O'Hagan, farmer, Drumnahare. There is also a P. Hagan in Drumnahare, likely the same family.

Hi Marcia
The index is British Vital Records Index CD from the LDS, unfortunately it is quite a limited index of births and some marriages.
I don't have access to a death index but I'm still looking!
Good Luck with your search
Cara

Hi. I too am searching for a Kelly from County Down, possibly Newry but so far have not confirmed this. Edward Kelly was b. 1821 in County Down and came to the US in abt 1840's thru possibly PA but lived in NY. My grandmother found out that his father's name was Philip and we dont know if he left Ireland for the States, nor do we know if Edward had any brother's or sisters. Any speculations?
