I believe my grandmother to be from Esbjerg. Immigrated in 1906. I found her on the Ellis Island website. But last place of residence is listed as Bregdinus. Is there such a place, and is it located near Esbjerg?

I live near Esbjerg, but cannot figure out what town it could be.

If written by hand, I would like to see the original - maybe it is not correctly transcribed.

Maybe it's a little far out, but try Brede Sogn. About 50km south of Esbjerg... and maybe this thread is too old now.
