Hi I got alot of info from aunt that she obtained from the mormons and it said that all the Hardisters with our spelling are related, and ones that are listed as Hardistay.
Found this very interesting.
My grandpa was Edward Hardister, he died in 95 and I was very close to him, dis anybody here know him?

Teresa,
Hello, I find it unique that you are a HardIster/Bailey, as I am one too....before I married.

My mother was a Hardister before she married my dad, who is a Bailey. We are from Arkansas.

My maternal grandparents were: James Buckner Hardister and Eunice Bridges. My maternal great, grandfather was Street Hardister. I have forgotten who his wife was. My mom has the info. I'll have to get it from her. They were all from Raydell, Arkansas (South Ark.) My uncle, Graydon Hardister knows quite a bit about the Hardisters and there is a Larry Hardister in Tennessee that has done quite a bit of research. He has the name going like all the way back to the entrance into the Carolinas.

My paternal grandparents were: James Wallin Bailey and Dorothy Jean Nobles..from Star City, Ark,(which is Southeast, Ark.) My g.grandparents were James William Bailey and Lettie Mathews...from Star City, Ark., and his parents were Boldin Green Bailey and Nancy Tidwell, from Star City. However, Boldin Green Bailey was born in Alabama and at some point moved to Ark. He married at the age of 19 in Ark.

E-mail me back how you are connected to the Bailey's and Hardisters. I would be quite interested in knowing the relationship.

My mother was a Hardister before she married my dad, who is a Bailey. We are from Arkansas - now living in Texas

My maternal grandparents were: James Buckner Hardister and Eunice Bridges. My maternal great, grandfather was Street Hardister and his father was Asbury, Hardister. Surnames: Allen
I received an email from you a good while ago. I don't remember if I answered-- I am looking for info on Joseph Allen. Joseph was father of Sallie Allen, who married Lendo Hardister. Sallie was my aunt, tho I don't remember a lot about her. Her brother, Elisha, was my daddy. Daddy died 1946 and I was very young when he died. From what I have heard all my life, Daddy didn't talk about his family- So some of his family's whereabouts were unknown at his death. I was wondering if you have any info on Joseph- his parents, where he was born,if he had any siblings, what kind of work he did, when he passed away and where he is buried. I would appreciate any info you have and would pass along to me. As I said I have never known anything about my paternal grandparents. thank you. Pat Honeycutt
