Surnames: QUEEN, ATHEY, DAWKINS, GRAHAM, SAMS
Would like information on:

Elinor Queen,(born 1716),daughter of Richard Queen in Prince Georges County, Maryland.
She married in 1853 (same county) Thomas Athey.
This couple had children that married into the Dawkins family.
Any clues would be appreciated.

Elinor QUEEN m 1753 to Benjamin ATHEY b 1735, not Thomas as several publications have stated incorrectly. Elinor died between 1769-1773. Benjamin's 2nd wife was Edea. The Maryland 1776 Census has Benjamin and Edea with 8 children in PG Co, p56. Males: 41, 20, 15, 7, 1 Females: 40, 21, 18, 13, 10.

Benjamin's father is Thomas and Elizabeth (Fenley) ATHEY. Thomas was b February 14, 1716/17.

Elinor is the daughter of Richard and Mary (Jameson) QUEEN. Richard died in 1794.

Thanks for several people, I made a mistake in my first posting. The parents of Elinor Queen are Richard and Mary C. (Gardiner) QUEEN. Mary Jameson is Richard's father, wife of Marsham Queen.
