Looking for John and Mary Berry, he was B: 1816, she 1852,
1870 census shows three sons, William 11, John 7, and George 2.
On 1900 census, John and sons are gone, Mary has three boarders, Elisha Dempsey 25, Robert B. Turner 18 ( my gpa) and Martin Wehunt 12.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Is this query for real? The way it's posted, as a couple ??? John is 36 years older than Mary, and if mary is Mama, she is 18 in 1870 and has a 11 yr. old. I am aware that it is not stated that John and Mary are a "couple", but no other description is provided. Or is it a typo?

Let me try again. 1870 census, Lumpkin Co. Ga., there is a John Berry age 54, Mary Berry age 30, presume she is his wife, also three children. William age 11, John age 7, and George age 2.
1900 census, Lumpkin Co. Ga., there is Mary Berry age 62, widow. Living with Mary as lodgers, is Elisha Dempsey age 25, Robert B. Turner age 18 (my grandfather) and Martin Wehunt age 12.
I am looking for any info on these Berry's, as this is first place have found my grandfather, and do no know his family.
