This Hiram & Mary Cutler is my stepfather's (Wayne Charles Cutler) paternal grandfather. We would like to determine mary's maiden surname/parentage. They later moved to Washington, D.C. and possibly nearby northern Virginia. Wayne

Clarence is a son of Charles & Caroline CUTLER, previous post. Sadly, by 1930, he has a son-in-law and grandson with surname ROSE. The nurse is probably there to care for the motherless infant.

I believe this all to be correct with the exception that Warner is actually Warren. (Misspelled in 1870 census) He is the son of Charles and Caroline and the father of Clyde J. Cutler who is my paternal grandfather.
