Hello,

Does anyone know if there is a picture in existence of soldiers from the 6th Louisiana Infantry Company D (Charles Tenney's company) from Tensas? My great-great-great grandfather volunteered for the war in St Joseph and became part of that company. He was wounded at Malvern Hill, VA in July 1862 (shot in the back) and discharged after being released from the hospital. I'm searching everywhere to find a picture of that company. Thanks!

Hi there; if you find any images would you let me know? I am at jschaaf@umassd.edu You are lucky your ancestor survived; my great-great grand uncle John Segrue was in this unit and died as a Corporal in the Battle of Malvern Hill in which your ancestors was wounded. Thanks, Judy
