by my late aunt batchelder is my mothers family name
my grandfather born in ri his father was from ri but the rest seem to be beverly mas or newport nh still trying to find all the pieces.

He was married to Fanny Ober of Beverly Ma,She died in 1850 and he remarried Priscilla Coffin Of Maine they were married in Londonderry in1852. He went to RI during the civil war He worked as a surgeon during that time. His daughter Nancy J was my great granmother. Lots of info on ancestry it might be helpful for your sirch
