I am looking for information on David Cook bn Nov 30, 1843 and died Jan 26, 1887. He was married on Nov 24 1867 to Susan Harriet Smith bn March 28, 1947 and died Feb 16, 1909. According to family tradition they were English. They had a number of children including Eugene Manuel Cook my husband's grandfather. I would appreciate any information.

Carol I, too, am interested in the Cook Family in Mo. I have information that there was a Harriett Newell Cook that married Enoch Hunt. They had a daughter, Aurelia Torry Hunt that was born 12/4/1844. She died 8/15/1907 in Mexico, Mo. I do not know if Harriett was born in Mo. If you come across these names let me know and I will do the same for you. A story has been handed down in our family, though, that this Cook line is decendant of Francis Cook, signer of the Mayflower Compact. We even have had the Cook Family Coat of Arms handed down. I just have not been able to tie Harriett to Francis Cook.

Sharon, I really have almost no information on the Cook family. My husband's grandfather was Eugene Manual Cook, 3rd child of David Cook -Nov 30, 1843 to Jan 26, 1887 and Susan Harriet Smith Cook -March 28, 1847 to Feb 16, 1909. They were married Nove 24, 1867 and had at least 7 children. I've not had much luck with finding any other information. If you have anything that might help, I would appreciate it.
