Hi all --

I am interested in researching the family history of three brothers from Villa Mesa di Calana, a small village east of the city of Reggio, in Calabria.

Parents: Dominic Calarco
Theresa Pallumba

Children: Rosario (1879-1960; d. Long Beach, CA, USA)
Pasquale (1881-1973; d. Kitchener, ON, Canada)
Vincenzo (1885-1965?; d. unknown)

All three migrated separately, I think to North America via Ellis Island 1900-1920. I haven't found all of them together in the passenger lists.

Does anyone else have ancestors from this small town, or know any of the above names? Thanks!

Regards, pascal

After speaking to my father, I have more information. All three brothers were sons of Dominico Calarco and Theresa Palumbo/Palumba

The village may be also called Villa Mezza di Calana.

Another correction. The village name is Callana, near San Roberto.
