Hi, I've been researching all Pearcy lines since 1977 while attempting to trace my Pearsey family. I've gone back to Charles Pearsey 1771-1850 who lived in Orange Co. Va. from birth til 1800. His father was also named Charles Pearsey and is found in Orange County as early as 1763. A John Peirsey, indentured servant of Col. Alexander Spotswood, Governor of Virginia, is probably the elder Charles' father. He is found in Spotsylvania Co. Va. 1726-32. If anyone wishes to correspond on this or other Pearsey/Pearcy families, I'll be happy to hear from you.

We found Allen and John Peircey, orphans of George Peircy, apprenticed out in 1799 in Augusta, Co., VA. Our ancestor Allen Pearcy of KY said that his family arrived in the Americas in the 1600-We have found no records in VA or NC that can tie our Pearcy to any of the early colonies. We are investigating all leads--so I am appealing to your findings to see if there might be some connection. Would like to hear from you about your ancestors.

I am fairly certain that John Lewis Pearcy Sr. had several brothers who came to Pennsylvania and perhaps into Augusta Co. va. I think if you concentrate on this line you'll find the right family if you're descended from Allen or George Pearcy.

whose family was in Virginia and West Virginia? Andrew Jackson Piercy was
married to Mary Susan Marquess and had the following children: George
