Jay,

Following is pretty much what I know about my Emelia.

Gustav Hellmuth SCHUETZLER was born on July 20, 1855 in Pomeran Germany. He immigrated to the United States in either 1881 or early 1882. He became a naturalized citizen on October 24, 1889 in Cambridge, Illinois. He died on October 18, 1951 in East Moline, Rock Island County, Illinois in the home of his youngest daughter Kati Miller. He was buried in the Oakwood Cemetery (lot 30) in Geneseo, Henry County, Illinois.

+1st Emelia N. BOEHM It is believed that Gustav and Emelia were
+married in Germany in 1881 and immigrated to the United States in 1881
+or early 1882. Emelia was born on May 10, 1861 in Viersen,
+Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. She died on November 21, 1891 in Henry
+County, Illinois, with final burial in the Oakwood Cemetery (lot 30) in
+Geneseo, Henry County, Illinois.

If we have the same Emelia I to will be happy to share.

Well, you would think there was a connection there. Emelia Boehm & Amelia Boehm. Born within a five year period.

However, I don't think so. My Amelia's married name was Boehm and she (according to three census records) was born in Pennsylvania. Here maiden name was MINER. Her father & probably her mother were from England.

Hello Jay!!
I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to see someone posting about the Boehm family. I have been hunting them for 2 years.
John Harvey Sr had an older sister named Emma Jane Boehm. Born 24 Sep 1876 Middleport, Schuylkill, Pennsylvania. Emma married George Washington Fox in Dec 1897 (Schuylkill license #C-1423). They followed George's sister Laura Fox Knightand her husband John Knight, as well as George's brother James Lincoln Fox and wife Elizabeth "Lizzie" Williams Fox (my mother's grandparents) down to Norristown, Montgomery, Pennsylvania.

I found the obits for Emma and George in the Norristown Library, and their graves in Riverside Cemetery, Norristown, but I can't find anything on the other Boehms or Foxes.
George and Emma were my mother's parents best friends, as well as aunt and uncle.
I have many questions about the Boehms. Can you helpme, please?

What religion were they?
How is 'Boehm' pronounced? BEEM BOME BO-EM?
Where the heck are they buried?
Why is Margaret Haughney Boehm's Soc Security place of death listed as West Conshohocken instead of Norristown?
Where are their kids?

Emma and George had an adopted daughted named Georgina Fox. What happened to her? Historical Society has no record of a marriage. Their church has no record of a marriage or death. Was she beamed up by Scotty?

I live right here in Norristown. I'll be happy to share any info I have.

I am afraid I don't know too much about the Boehm family. The best person to contact about them is Bob Reifsneider (rreif140@aol.com). I obtained a lot of this info from him.

I do know something about the Haughneys. I was hoping to find someone who had researched the Boehms & Haughneys.

What I do know is summarized below. I will try to answer questions, but all I know of Emma Jane I learned from you
