Here is the website for the CPR archives - it says employee records are not part of the archives, and not available for research.

Here is another railways archives page that may be interesting

My Dad was a Section Foreman for the CNR from 1926-1949. I have his seniority booklet from those years....I could look up a surname/year for you.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for or not

Hi, What information are you searching for?
A family member worked for CPR from 1920 - 1965.
Another from the early 1940's to the 1960's
when I enquired with CPR - I was advised that there were no records of employees held. Whether that was accurate information ? or just difficult to research. So Many Employees over all the years - some long time, some casual - brothers and cousins worked during summer break from school.
perhaps if you are searching for a particular person - and want information other than CPR/ CNR employment information
You might want to post the name/s to the message - board - there may be persons who can help - perhaps family connected - or even persons who may have worked with the person/s of interest.

Cheers, Stella

Surnames: Gardner
His name was Charles Henry Gardner. Not sure what years he worked where. He worked all over Ontario from what I can remember. He had to retire early due to an accident. (not job related) He was pensioned off around..1930-40 he would have been roughly 40-45 yrs.

If you are still at this email address...could you look up a name for me? I have a CNR pass for my grandfather Paul Dmytriw and his wife Stefania from 1943 but I am pretty sure he worked there long before that as my father was born in Hudson's Bay 'Junction' in 1932 ? Thanks if you do get this...

Surnames: Orchieson
Hi,

I know this thread is a few years old, but I'm looking for someone who worked for the CPR/CNR. His name is William ORCHIESON and he was a clerk/auditor from 1913 to 1946 when he retired. Would he possibly be mentioned in your father's seniority booklet?

Thanks,

Brooke
