Mr Owen O'Brien married Miss Mary McAllister about 1800 in Ireland.

Owen and Mary had the following children:

Owen married Miss Bridget Finnegan (Fenigan) about 1830. She died in Co. Armagh, Ireland and was buried in Drumintee, Co. Armagh, Ireland.

They had the following children:

i Mr Michael O'Brien was born in 1833 in Newry, County Armagh, Ireland. He died in 1925 in Victoria, Australia.
Michael married Miss Eliza Carew >children known

ii.Mr John Joseph O'Brien was born in 1844 in Co. Armagh, Ireland. He died 1905 in Victoria, Australia.
John married Miss Margaret Duggan >children known

iii.Mr Thomas O'Brien was born in Ireland and died in Australia.
Thomas married (1) Miss Mary Kelly. Mary died in 1880.
Thomas also married (2) Miss Margaret McConey.

vi.Mr Hugh O'Brien was born in Ireland. He died in Ireland and was buried in Drumintee, Co. Armagh, Ireland.
Hugh married Miss Margaret McDonald in Ireland.
Children: Mary O'Brien (1867) and others unknown
