HISTORY GENEALOGY OF THE BIEBER-BEAVER FAMILY
This book was copyright in 1939 by Rev. Irvin M. Beaver.
It is a rather large book, and I am sure that more than
likely will contain the information that most are look-
ing for. It was printed in Reading, Pennsylvania on
222 N. Sixth Street. If you are unable to acquire it, I
would be happy to look up what I can for you.

I understand that this book may have info on
Henry Bieber and his wife Sarah (Sally) Stoy
who were married in Pennsylvania in the late
1700s. I am doing Stoy family research and
would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks.

Henry was born in 1747. Married Sally Stoy, daughter of Daniel M. Stoy, who sold lots and laid out the town of Stoystown about 1800, one of the oldest towns in Somerset Co., PA... Daniel M. Stoy served as captain in Gen. George Washington's army for 12 months. He was discharged at Long Island, NY., July 1778. Later he moved to what is now Somerset Co., PA.
He was a Justice of the Peace. He served in the General Assembly in 1809-10 and 13. He died 1834. D.A.R. marker on grave.
Daniel Stoy, born in England, May 3, 1738, died Jan 11, 1835, in Stoystown, Somerset Co., PA. He was married about 1759 to Sarah Higgins of Scotland, born April 4, 1737 died Oct 31, 1818. Soon after their marriage they came to America and located at Conchohockin, PA., where their six children were born, viz., (1) Sarah (Sally), the oldest daughter, married
Henry Beaver; (2)Daniel married a Miss Shedrick; (3)Ned never married; (4) John married Elizabeth Pisel; (5) William; (6) Margaret, the youngest child, born at Conchohockin, Oct 15, 1780, died Dec. 6, 1868. She was 7 years old when her parents moved to what was then Bedford Co., now Somerset Co., PA. She married Abraham Spangler and they had 14 children.
Henry Beaver moved his family from Stoystown, PA to Greensburg, Westmoreland Co., PA. They had one son that we know of, John F. Beaver, who read law at Greensburg, PA.

I hope this is what you where looking for, if you need more, I will try to be of help.

My great great grandfater was John Beaver. He was born in Westmoreland County, PA in 1803. He was married first to Susannah Myers and then to Leah Spayd. John and Susannah had four children: John, Samuel, Mary and Levi. John and Leah had seven children: George, Emanuel, Jacob, William, Sarah, Aaron and David. David was my great grandfather. Is this John the same person as you John F. Beaver? If it is I would appreciate any help you can give me regarding his parents. Please E-mail me at Wirthyl1@cs.com, I don't visit this board often. Thanks...

I am interested in finding parents of Frederick Beavers born abt 1790 in PA md.
a Sarah Cade in 1815 in MS. Think the name might also be spelled Bieber, Beevers. Any
information would be helpful.

Mr. Shumard, I am going to need more information than what
you have given me. I have tried all evening with just what you
have provided and have come up empty. Do you know what
month Frederick was born? When you say he married Sarah Cade
in MS. Could it be Maryland? Do you come across any other family
sir names that could be checked? There are not too many Fredericks
listed. Could he have had a middle name that you know of? Did he
and Sarah have any children? I just need something more to go on.

Hi. I'm hoping that my family's lineage will be in that infamous book.
My father's name was Harold Bieber, Jr. (he will be 70 yrs.old in July '2001)
His father's (my grandfather) name was Harold Leffle ( or Leffel) Bieber, died in July 1978
His mother's name (my grandmother) is Mabel (Cleaver) Bieber - Green. Her birthdate is Feb. 2, ?
I think my ggrandmother was Rebecca Leffle (Leffel).

Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated. I am just starting at this, and my grandmother is now in a nursing home.
