Hi Darlene;

We share some common ancestors. John Collison UEL born 1765 had a son John married to Margaret Barkley. Your grandfather Reuben Milo Collison (born Aug 05, 1868) was married to Harriet Mellissa Lezert (Liezert)and they had many children, Alfred being the third born. You said that your father Howard was born in 1917. I have your father born March 18, 1913 and his brother Mahlon born in 1917. Please advise. Do you know where your dad was born? My great grandfather was Allen Collison an older brother to Reuben according to my records.
I would be glad to exchange info with you

Hi Darlene, I have an obituary for Mary Miliso Blaedow who passed away in Ontario. It has some names you might be interested in. It states she was born in Codette Sk. April 19, 1923 and she was the daughter of the late Alfred Collison and the former Grace Billings. She was raised in Star City. You can email me if you are interested.

Thank you....yes, that was my aunt Mary Blaedow (Collison).She lived on a farm near Brockville Ont, I think. She had 2 or 3 daughters and 1 son that I can remember. The last time I saw two of the daughters was about 26 years ago in Toronto.Did the obit say what caused her death? Thanks for your help.

Hi Darlene, So I see your g grandfather and my grndfather were brothers. My grandfather was Henry Alfred known only as "Doll". It must be your father my mother used to correspond with. (Roxborough Sudbury) It is so neat to find all of these relatives.Do you have a fax # I could send you a copy of the obit. It doesn't say what she died from--just that she died at home on June 26 and that it was a joint funeral service with her son-in-law Ron Young who also died on June 26. I have the names of her family if you don't have them. Nice to meet you. Colleen
