Help! I'm trying to find a book called "The
Woodson Family History" I heard it's part of the Washington D.C. archives. Has anyone ever heard of it? If so, how can I purchase a copy?

I'm attempting to search for ancestors. My grandfather's name was Roosevelt Woodson. He was born 1910 in Carrsville, VA. His father's name was Louis Woodson.

Since I have been told that Louis Woodson Parrish Sr. ran away from home I thought that we may have some Info to share.

I believe that his mother was a Woodson and that he recieved her name. I have a pictur that came from him that shows his family moving to Kentucky in an ox drawn wagon with the caption "Moving west ye olden way". We know nothing of his family that he ran away from or why he left.
