BLACKWELL RAILROAD

BLACKWELL RAILROAD

Surnames: RICHARDSON
Greetings fellow researchers!
I have my Great Grandfather Arthur W. Richardson on a Canadian census for the Kootnay B.C. district in 1901.

He was killed in an accident on the 'Blackwell Railroad' in December of 1907.

Does this ring any bells? I am stumped! I have no idea about this railroad?

Any and all leads greatly appreciated! Please email me directly at:

Hi Paula,
Searching the Provincial Archive of British Columbia - Vital Events Index -Marriage 1859-1929 - Birth 1872 - 1903 - Death 1872 - 1984 - for the Name Arthur W.RICHARDSON
There is no death registration shown. for the time frame 1907
for the surname RICHARDSON 1907 - there are 4 listings - 3 female - and one Thomas Taylor Richardson -Vancouver.
Searching BLACKWELL RAILROAD:shows the following in the U.S.A.
http://www.blackwellindustrialauthority.com/dynamic/commprof...
<snip>RAIL: Rail service is provided by the Blackwell & Northern Railway (BNR). Daily switching service is available to industrial customers.

Perhaps posting to a Mail List - for Railroads - would prove helpful:

Wishing you much luck with your research.
Cheers, Stella
