I'm looking for information on my great-grandfather, Aron. He was born Nov 1851, died sometime in 1901. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He was the second husband of Mary Merket. They had two sons, George R, (my grandfather), and Lawrence, and two daughters, Florina and Lavina. I found him on the 1900 census, but have been unable to find any other reference. Mary's first husband was Kimpel (I haven't discovered his first name yet.) and her third husband was John Turvey. If anyone can shed any light on Aron and his parents, it would be great!

Mary Merkert's 1st husb. was Valentine Kimpel from Baden, Germany b.1853-1890. Both of their buriels, Marys and Valentines are at Leverington cemetery,Roxborough, Philadelphia county, Pa. I'm doing research on the Kimpel line. S,H.
