ABNER PERRY HOWARD AND FAMILY.....
Family Group Record...Please read this entire list, as I have included the
surnames of the persons the children married, and hopefully, we may find some
connections...
Note: the Howard's traditionally named their children after the parents and
grandparents, therefore, some ladies have some real strange middle names.
Please contact me if you think we may be related, **are my direct lines.
Thanks, Marguerite Prince Songy

I believe that we are related through David Conner and Elizabeth Mercer. I am actually tracing the Conner line and have not been able to get past Senator David Conner. I would be happy to share any info that I have that you would find useful and would appreciate any info you have!

Thanks much and look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Lola:
I am remarried now, no longer a Songy...I have been tracking the elusive Senator David Conner and Eliz. Caroline Mercer for so many years now...it has been such a dead end!
They followed Sam Houston to TX, his slaves built the wall around the Huntsville prison, and he died and was buried apparently without a marker...how is that possible?
I live in Louisiana now, which makes it difficult for me to check, but just relisted with ancestry today, and found your post. Please contact me and we will search together...wish I had more to give you.
