For a few years between 1920 and 1950, Claude Carpenter and other family members either owned or operated a dairy farm near Weiser. Dates needed to locate family members as of a certain date. If they owned it, there should be a deed; if they operated for someone else, local memories may be more difficult. Thanks, Grace in AK

I was thinking about 1939 forward; do you live in Weiser? The recorder's office doesn't do research but looking for a deed would eliminate the own/rent question. Thank you for your interest. I have them on the census up to 1940 in N CA so if they did this between censuses, I wouldn't know.
