I've got some info on the Campbell family. I have Susannah's parent as William Burruss. William's parents were Joseph Campbell and Elizabeth Peatross. Elizabeth's parents were Matthew Peatross and Amey?? I have nothing of Joseph's parents. Matthew's parent was John Peatross. This John Peatross (b. 1679) had Matthew Peatross I and Elizabeth Mayo as parents. They are my 8 ggrandparents. I got most of this from books and articles on the Campbell that I got in Salt Lake City.I know this is sketchy but if you'd like the family sheet on them let me know and I can send them via email.

The Burruss brothers of Caroline County,VA> John and Jacob, produced many offspring. Some of the Burruss family are still farming around Penola in Caroline County. The Burruss brothers arrived in the early 1700's. Please note that the spelling is "Burruss" (although there have been corruptions of the spelling form time-to-time. In fact, the spelling is probably a corruption of Burrows in the first place. Included among the Burruss family are veterans of the Revolutionary War and Civil war. (Confederate side, of course), as well as WW 2, Korea and Vietnam.
