Talofa lava,

He is male, don't know of any females. Actually the two listings you listed are the same person, but a mistake when written female.

Fateia married Betty Purcell Tulia. The Tulia's went by Purcell, but were actually Tulia's.

I would like to know more aobut Fateia's life. I know he was LDS and a strong member, but I would like to know more.

Talofa/Hello:

Manupopo, I had to delete your post if just to protect the "5 living" descendants.

Fa'afetai/Thank you for sharing.

I don't remember listing any living people- only Fateia and this father and his father's father to find out if there was anyone who has gone further.

Candis~Fateia is my mother in law's father.

Talofa/Hello:

Candis, if this in relation to PATANE, I'm sorry but I'm not related.

Yes, I am the admin of this board, but I try to help where I can. Since being the admin I saw a need for showing Samoans and everyone connected to Samoans that sharing "aiga"/Family history, customs, etc., was one of the first ways of learning genealogy.

And if you or anyone else care to discuss removing replys/responses to your particular post, most certainly contact me:

manaiaalofa@yahoo.com.

Fa'afetai/Thanks!

Kia Ora and Talofa! My father is the eldest child of Fateia Tainano Patane and Atisa Ta'ase Solomona. All blood-line siblings to Fateia and Atisa Patane are still surviving. My father married a beautiful Maori woman 60 years ago and they are still going strong and still alive. I am the youngest of eight siblings; one has passed on, with seven surviving siblings and our children, grand children and great grand children.

Any and all further inquiries can be sent to my email address in which I will pass on to my older brothers and sisters to address.

Thank you,

Moana G. Patane-Gasu
