I am trying to get more information on Antoni Biørn, his occupation and history. I have an old photograph of a deathbed scene with a label on the back that says Antoni Biørn and gives these four addresses and phone numbers for København:
Dannebrogsg.32 Telf 2864,
Skinderg. 44 Telf 3581,
Griffenfeldtsg. 1 Telf 3078,
Osterbrog. 56 Telf 2097

Below is some information I found on the internet from a danish woman's personal website. It appears to be the same man I am looking for.

Antoni Biørn (b. 1860, d 1937). In 1888 George Biørn (b. 1865, d 1938)was taken in the firm as partner. After the latter's death in 1938 continued the company of his widow, Mrs. Astrid Biørn (d. 1945); in 1945 it was taken over by Mrs Edith Biørn Rohde (b. 1900).

Antoni Biørn's Eftf by Axel Mjelde, color and wallpaper trade.

Gründl. the 15th May 1883 of ALC Biørn (b. 1861, d 1937).

In 1937 taken over by his widow, Mrs. P. Biørn and in 1944 by Axel Mjelde (b. 1900).

Address Griffenfeldsgade 6, Kbhvn. N.

Antoni Lauritz Christian Biørn (Bjørn) born Mar 24 1861 in Frederiksberg sogn, Kobenhavn. His parents were Carl Ludvig Valdamar Bjørn and Emma Rosalie Wilhelmi (who were married on May 13 1860) His brother was Carl George Ludvig Bjørn, born Dec 22 1865. (Carl Georg Ludvig Bjørn's wife was Astrid Christine b. Oct 11 1882)

Yes I believe this is the same man/family. I was curious if there is a census that might indicate what his occupation was listed as?

"Fabrikant Farvehandel" per the politietsregister. I don't speak Danish but Google translates this as "Manufacturer Color Trade"

Can't shed any new light on Mr. Born, but thought you might be interested that we just bought a 17" square oil painting of windmill scene in an gold gilt frame also with a label on the back saying:

And down both sides in small print it says "Alt fra gene Fabriker."
