Surnames: Robert Campbell, Rachel Morrison
Robert Campbell, Rev War soldier buried in Slate Run Cemetary. Another son was Michael, who is my great great grandfather. Robert's father Samuel, born circa 1740 and died after 1820 in Lycoming county. Samuel's wife was Elizabeth. Robert was married to Rachel Morrison, born 6/4/1764 in Bucks county, died prior to 1850 in Lycoming County. Her parents, the Reverend George Morrison, died 1775-76 in Lycoming county, and mother Margaret Morrison, who is named in her fathers will as Margaret Young. Margaret Morrison's parents were Samuel Morrison (1720-1801?) and Mercy Mayes (1720-1798?) If anyone knows any more info, appreciate it. Also seeking information on Jacob Miller, (1822-1898), who was married to Isabella Gamble, and who are both buried in Cedar Run cemetary.

I don't have any info on Margaret Morrison's parents: Samuel and Mercy but I do know that she had a brother named JOHN (1770-1836) who was married to SARAH BOATMAN (a daughter of Claudius Boatman Sr. and his wife, Esther). Sarah was one of 10 children. Sarah and John had the following children: Ann Maria ((1791-1871) (M) Alexander Hamilton (1792-1851) and they had: Robert, John M., Alexander, Jackson, Ann Amanda, Jane Hayes, Elizabeth, and
Mary P.), Elizabeth, Sarah ((1795-1881) (M) William Perine Blackwell (1790-1859) and they had: George M. (1821-1898) (M) Mary Ann (1823-1897), Enoch (1824-1904) (M) Mary Elizabeth Webster (1829-1894) and they had: William Plank (1851-1937), John M. (1828-1886) (M) Martha J. Walters (1832-1924), Mercy (1799-1899) (M) John Lundy and they had: John, Sarah, William M., Ann, Harriet, Charles, and Albert D., George (1800-1886) (M) Hannah Emich (1798-1892) and they had: (James H (1831-1904) (M) Mary Harrison (1843-1924) and they had: Zelma Undine (1867-1942) (M) William E Gamble (1861-1933), Sarah (1836-1913) (M) 1st John L. Pond (1838-1865), 2nd Peter Champaign (1846-1899), William (1832-1904) (M) Elizabeth Clark (1846-1921), Amanda (1825-1912) (M) George Patterson (1823-1904), and Ann (ELiz) 1827 (M) George Clark (1825)), Rachel (1801-1889) (M) 1st James Rowland 2nd William Lloyd and they had: (John, William H., Henry Clay, Richard A., James, and George M.), Margaret (1810-?) (M) Joshua Blackwell (son of John Blackwell and Sarah Cole) and they had: John Hay, George A., Spencer W., Edward S., and Christine, and Jane (1814-1882) (M) Henry Walters (1805-1881) and they had: Margaret (M) William Thomas, William Henry (1840-1928) (M) Clara Ann Blackwell (1850-1898), Mary Ann (M) Calvin West, Sarah (M) William Walter Love, Julia (M) Henry Campbell, and John (not married).

Sarah (Boatman) and John Morrison's children were: Ann Maria, Elizabeth, Sarah, Mercy, George, Rachel, Margaret, and Jane in case you get confused with the above info. The above info also contains info on the siblings' families.

I also have 2 Michael Campbells in my family tree. One was married to Elcy Tomb (daughter of Harriet Callahan and Benjamin Tomb). This Michael was born 1825 and died 1906.

The other Michael Campbell was born 1835 and died 1921 and was married to Catherine English whose mother was Priscilla Campbell (daughter of Rev. War Veteran Robert Campbell).

Priscilla was born 1809 and died after 1887. She was born in Truman Run and was married to James English Jr. (1805-1853). Priscilla and James had 8 children that I know of.

I hope this helps!

I am also descended from Robert Campbell and have some information received from a family member. It is part of a genealogy commissioned by a cousin of my grandmother, Ruth Anna Campbell, in the 1960's. Contact me if you are interested. Christie Suss
