I am Jacqueline Elaine Flanigan. Daughter of John Vincent Flanigan of Winona, IL and Yvonne Conner of Manhattan, IL. My grandfather was Vincent Flanigan and resided in Winona. IL and was married to Margaret. I have other history of my family, but I would still like anything anyone can provide me. Thanks!

I am helping a friend who's searching her son's father's lineage. He too has a Vincent Flanigan in 1865
who was born in Wisconsin. SO I'm wondering if perhaps the two families could have been at all related???

I have found one record that suggests his middle initial was B, yet other records suggest it was R. Since either could be a mistranscribing of handwritten cursive, its anyone's guess at this point which is right.

Our Vincent was married to a ELLA A, (last name unknown). They had the following children during their marriage: Pearl, Lenard, Mytle, Claude, H. Guy, Cecil, Nena & Vernon.

By 1900 the family had moved to South Dakota.

Any help would be appreciated.
