Clayton-Water E. Kittle,73 of 637 Riverside Dr.retired Auto Dealer died 24 Feb 1972 in his winter home in Crescent City Fl.He had been hospitalized two weeks,but had returned home.The funeral was Monday at 11a.m.at the Clayton Baptist Church.
Surviving are his widow,Mrs. Lillian S.Butler Kittle;two sons,Walter E. Jr.and J.Murray,both associated with the operation of Kittle Motors in Clayton.;two sisters,Mrs.Harold(Mildred)Bretsch,Lafargeville,Mrs.E.J.(Helen)Carter,Clayton;a brother Lawrence R.(Ted),Clayton,and grandchildren.
Born Sept.27 1898,at Clayton,a son of Frank B. and Jessie Murdock Kittle,he was graduated from Clayton High School in 1917 and spent all his life in the Clayton vicinity.
Mr. Kittle married Frances M. Murray a native of St.Lawrence Co.June 1 1921 at St.Mary,s.She died in Aug.1963.He married Lillian S. Butler,a native of Grindstone Island in January 1965 in Florida.
He was a member of the Baptist Church and many other organizations in Clayton.
