I am looking for a family history for Daniel Springer of Butler's Rangers, who settled in Barton Twp., Wentworth County and later Delaware Twp., Middelesex County. He was the son of David Springer, also a Loyalist. I am not related but researching the Upper Canada Militia during the War of 1812. About that time Daniel served as a captain in both the 2nd York and 1st Middlesex Regiments.

Try some of the books on www.our roots.ca.
The Journal and transactions of the Wentworth Historical Society, Volume 4, page 21 may be of interest.
