The Gem County Museum is open W. - Sa, 1 - 5pm, all year, & they have collection of obituaries that is current within that time-frame.

City Hall has a card file of all the burials, as well as the cemetery book, for Emmett-Riverside Cemetery. The sexton at the cemetery has the same info. City Hall is open from 8-5. The sexton is at the cemetery from 8:30-4:40, and takes his lunch from 12-12:30. Emmett City Hall

I know your post is quite old, but I have information for you. Bernadine is my great grandmother. She married Joseph Eisenbeiss after the death of my great grandfather Orland Harwood. You can find her grave site at Riverside Cemetery in Gem Idaho. This is the link for the site

I have just started looking at my Penney/Slattery side. What is your grandmother's name? I have found several combinations for William and Nora Penney.
