If you have access can someone look up 1900 census
Milwaukke, Wisconsin

William Marotzke dob 1882

Also, Minnie Marutske (any Marutske if you find info would be appreciated) ancetry shows a pre 1907 something.

1900 Milwaukee Ward 12 Milwaukee WI

Marotzke, Carolina b: 1845 Germany 6 children 3 living
Marotzke, Otto b: 12-1879 Germany
Marotzke, William b: 1-1882 Germany

All immigrated in 1886, Carolina is Widowed

There is also a Minnie Marotzke, living in Ward 7 Milwaukee
she is divorced b: 8-1841 with her sons August and Ernest. She was also born in Germany with her children in Wisconsin

This is a a pre-1907 State of Wisconsin vital record. Ancestry only put a transcription of the those records online.

The originals are located at the Wisconsin Historical Society http://www.wisconsinhistory.org/genealogy/vitalrecords

Or found in 3 Milwaukee area libraries that have the primary source (at that time) for the state records: Milwaukee County Register of Deeds; Births, Marriages and Deaths (records up through about 1912, but the indexes include even later entries - all info found in 2 online library catalogs).

There were family death notices published for a Caroline Marutske in local German language newspapers.

There are also Marotzke / Marotzka entries for an August, with reference to a Margaretha found in "Milwaukee's German Newspapers; an index of death notices and related items" (1844-1950).

Indexing Milwaukee's German newspapers continuously since 2007 ...
